You write — unhurried, on whatever the project is really about. Inquiries are read on Friday mornings.

Every commission begins on foot: through the mill, the gallery, the shop, before anything is sketched.

The subtraction
Versions are made, then unmade. You will see three; the studio will have buried thirty.

The handover
Files, yes — and one printed object, so the work has a body before it has a server.
